Gina K. Designs September 2019 Blog Hop - Day 2

12 September 2019

Hello and welcome back to day 2 of the Gina K. Designs September blog hop! Today we will be focusing on Autumn Splendor, the new card kit for this month. I would have to say this kit is my favorite so far this year. If you haven't ordered this one yet, you may want to think about it. It would be a great addition to your fall stamp collection. It contains two large stamp sets, coordinating dies, an amazing stencil and loads of paper!

To celebrate this release a $50 gift card will be awarded to one randomly selected commenter, so make sure you comment on all the blogs to be entered. If you didn't hop with us on Day 1 there is still time and another $50 gift card. The winners for both days will be announced on Gina's blog several days after the hop.

Ok, now that all the important stuff is out of the way let me show you what I created with the first set in the kit called Colossal Cone Flowers.

This set is amazing and so easy to color. I stenciled the background on this card with the Mandala Burst Stencil included with the kit in various GKD inks and the flower and leaves were colored with Chameleon Markers.

I created the next card with the second set in the kit called Leafy Prints.

This one reminds me of a tropical summer card. I love using different color combos no matter what season it is. I would probably use these colors for a Christmas card as well!

The last card I have to share today is one that I created featuring this month's mini incentive stamp set free with a $75 purchase called Santana Rose.

Here is the card I created featuring this set.

I colored this one with Polychromo colored pencils and Gamsol and added several jewels for a finishing touch.

The entire September release is available now at

Gina K. Designs

Well, that concludes the blog hop. Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope to have inspired you to create! Your next stop on the hop is
Sheri Gilson!

Gina K. Designs September 2019 Blog Hop - Day 1

11 September 2019

Hello and welcome to Day 1 of the Gina K. Designs September new release blog hop! You should have arrived here from Lisa Hetrick's blog. If you are lost and would like to start from the beginning click here to go to Gina K. Designs.

Today we are focusing on two new sets, Majestic Peony and Happy Fall. So let's get started!

Majestic Peony Illustrated by Hannah Drapinski

Hannah has done it again with this beautiful floral set. Don't you just love that huge peony image! Perfect set for those people that love to color or if you prefer, it's just as gorgeous uncolored.

Here are the cards I created featuring this set.

I stamped only a portion of the image on water colored paper and colored the inside of the petals and leaves with Distress Markers.

This card was shown during the release party. The background was created with the Mandala Burst stencil that is in this month's card kit. Again I stamped only a portion of the image and then left It uncolored. Several jewels were added to finish off my card.

The next set we are focusing on today was illustrated by Emily Loggans and is called Happy Fall. It features sentiments in her own hand lettering style, just the fancy lettered ones that is! This one has a coodinating die that may be purchased separately.

Here are a couple of cards featuring this set.

I cut a strip of white card stock and stamped it using the Diagonal Stripes background rubber stamp with Coral Reef GKD ink and then turned the stamp once and stamped it again with Soft Stone GKD ink to form a plaid background. I arranged the die cut leaves above it and added a sentiment.

This card was shown at the release party. For this one I randomly stamped all three leaf images in different ink colors to create a patterned paper background look and then just stamped a sentiment on white card stock and adhered it to the front.

These products and more are available now at

 GINA K. DESIGNS

Gina K. Designs & Therm-O-Web Blog Hop

05 September 2019

Hello all! Thanks for joining us for this very special blog hop featuring new STAMPNSTENCIL products by Gina K. Designs for Therm O Web.

If you are following the hop in order you should have arrived here from Chrissie Toba's blog. If you would like to start at the beginning, click here to go to the Therm O Web blog.

There are two new collections to share with you all today. So let's get started.

The first one is called Autumn Wishes
(each item sold seperately)

Here are the projects I created featuring this collection.

I stamped a piece of white cardstock with the diagonal stripes rubber stamp from Gina K. Designs one way and then again the opposite way to create a plaid background and then I fussy cut a hill and adhered it to my panel. The trees were stamped with Dark Chocolate GKD ink and for the greeting I used Lucky Clover GKD ink. I stenciled the leaves with Pumpkin Spice Glitz Glitter Gel.

My trees were stamped sideways with Kraft GKD ink to look like branches.  I stenciled the leaves with both Holiday Pine and Pumpkin Spice Glitz Glitter Gel. Lastly I stamped the sentiment with Jelly Bean Green GKD ink.

The second new collection is called Wishing You Joy
(each item sold separately).

Here is what I created featuring this collection.

I stamped the flowers and leaves with the following GKD Inks, Passionate Pink, Christmas Pine and Key Lime. The Glitz Glitter Gels I used were Bubblegum Pink, Holiday Pine and Gold. For the sentiment I used Obsidian Amalgam ink.

For my last card I kept it very simple and one layer. I used Key Lime and Obsidian Amalgam ink for the sprigs and sentiment and stenciled the berries with Red Velvet Glitz Glitter Gel.

Here are the two new Glitz Glitter Gels in this release!

Pumpkin Spice
Holiday Pine
These products are available now at:

To celebrate this new release each company will be randomly selecting a comment left on all the blogs to receive a $50 gift card to their store. So make sure to comment on all the blogs for a better chance to win. Good luck!

Well that concludes today's hop. I hope I have inspired you to create!

STAMPtember Exclusive: Festive Flower

04 September 2019

Hello and welcome to the 10th anniversary of STAMPtember®! If you are not familiar with this event, all month long Simon Says Stamp will release new stamps and dies that they collaborated with various companies for a limited time. Once they are gone they will not be restocked. Gina K designs has created a special set called Festive Flower to celebrate so I encourage you to head on over to Simon Says Stamp and grab it! This one won't last long!

FESTIVE FLOWER
I created a couple of cards for today's release.

For my first card I heat embossed the large poinsettia image and a sentiment with detail gold embossing powder from Gina K. Designs and water colored the image with various Gina K. Designs inks. I added dots to the flower for added interest.

For my second card I used the wreath builder template from Gina K. Designs to create a quick and easy holiday wreath.

I hope these cards inspire you to create with this new set from Simon Says Stamp! Enjoy the rest of the  STAMPtember® festivities!

Thanks for visiting and have a great day friends! Rema
