HLS February Watercolour Challenge

31 January 2017

Hello friends!

A  new watercolour challenge starts today over at

This month we would like to see you create a watercolour project with die cuts. This is totally optional and is not required.

My card this month features Wish you were Here by HLS.

After I smooshed my background with die inks by Gina K. Designs and stamped my images, I die cut the hello directly from the watercoloured panel, raised it, and stamped the sentiment below it.

Stop by and see what the rest of the team created and play along.

We would love to see your take on the challenge!

Love You

30 January 2017

Hello and welcome!

I'm playing along in the current Papertrey MIM challenge, Pattern Play With Die Cut Silhouettes.
Lexi is the host this week and she shows us how she created several cards by mixing patterns on your die cuts.

Here is one of the cards she made. I love her clean and simple style.

Here is my take on the challenge and the supplies I used.

Assorted PTI Patterned Paper
 PTI Stitched Primitive Heart Die
PTI Love You Die
Sentiment from the set With All My Heart

I cut out the top panel using MFT's Die-namics Blueprint #27.

So glad you stopped by and have a fabulous day!

Christmas Card Challenges #5

29 January 2017

We have an easy challenge for all you stampers out in blogland. Just create a card or project featuring snow. How easy is that?

I choose this cute penguin image and coordinating dye from the set Tis the Sea-Sun by Gina K. Designs and colored it with Zig Real Brush Markers. After the background was sponged with dye inks I embossed using embossing paste and a stencil by Simon says called Falling Snow. Stitched snow drifts are by MFT and the Stitched double frame is by PTI.

Thanks for stopping by!

Celebrate Today

25 January 2017

Good morning!

We are currently in the middle of a winter storm here in Southeastern Wisconsin and expecting up to eight inches by early morning. Perfect stamping weather!! I have my crafting table positioned right in front of a fairly large window so I can watch it snow while I stamp.

My card today was created and entered into Papertrey's January Blog Hop inspired by the photo pictured below. Aren't these cookies gorgeous?

ATSM Challenge #226 - Anything Goes

24 January 2017

Hello friends!

This week at ATSM it's every one's favorite challenge.

Anything Goes

I have chosen to use this beautiful image from the set Especially for You by Happy Little Stampers and make a sympathy card. Not my favorite type of card to make but it's always handy to keep a few on hand. I lightly colored the image with Gelatos and framed it with the A2 Scalloped Vertical die by PTI.

We would love to have you stop by and play along. Visit the rest of the design team and see their take on the challenge.

Peace, love and joy!

Christmas Card Chalenge #4

15 January 2017

Welcome friends and happy 2017!

Here is your photo inspiration for the next two weeks at Christmas Card Challenges. It's optional and you don't have to use it.  Just remember to make a Christmas themed project.

I kept my card very simply by stamping just a couple of images from Jingle All the Way by MFT and a sentiment by Lil' Inkers onto a die cut stitched rectangle wafer die by Simon Says Stamp. Images were colored in with my Zig Real Brush Markers.

Now it's your turn. We would love to see you in our gallery. Please do stop by and see what the rest of the designers created and leave them some comment love.
