Stamping Friends Trifecta Blog Hop

30 May 2019

Good morning and welcome to the Trifecta Blog Hop featuring designers from Gina K. Designs, My Sweet Petunia and Picket Fence Studios. I am so excited to be a part of this amazing event and awesome group of designers and hope you will be inspired by all the wonderful creations as you hop along with us.

I have a couple of cards to share with you today featuring products and tools from all three of these amazing companies, so let's get started!

For my first card I did some ink blending with the All About The Triangles Stencil by Picket Fence studios using the Life Changing Blender Brushes with Lovely Lavender and Blue Raspberry Inks by Gina K. Designs. I love how smooth and evenly the ink is applied with these incredible blender brushes! I trimmed the sides of my panel with the new Cut Align by My Sweet Petunia and adhered it to a piece of Lovely Lavender card stock and adhered that to a white card base. Lastly, I stamped a sentiment and adhered a heat embossed butterfly from the Elegant Aster Card Kit  by Gina K. Designs. I added some color to the butterfly with a blue Copic Marker.

For my second card I used the Layers of Grass Stencil by Picket Fence Studios. It's actually a stencil /mask where the middle portion is removable so you can mask the grass in order to create a beautiful blended background. Flip it around and you have an entirely different grass stencil. I only used one side of this stencil for my card today using the blender brushes and the following GKD Inks: Key Lime and Sea Glass for my grass and Wild dandelion and Bubblegum Pink for the background.

Before I stamped the flowers from the Elegant Aster Card Kit I did some ink blending with the brushes onto White card stock with Wild Dandelion and Bubblegum Pink GKD inks then I stamped it with GKD Black Onyx Ink and die cut them with the coordinating dies from the kit. I created the flower stems by hand and adhered the flowers with foam squares onto my card base. To finish off my card I added a sentiment from the kit and also a small dragonfly (not included in the kit).

Laser Etched Mini Misti by My Sweet Petunia was used in stamping all my images for both cards.
