STAMPtember Exclusive: Festive Flower

04 September 2019

Hello and welcome to the 10th anniversary of STAMPtember®! If you are not familiar with this event, all month long Simon Says Stamp will release new stamps and dies that they collaborated with various companies for a limited time. Once they are gone they will not be restocked. Gina K designs has created a special set called Festive Flower to celebrate so I encourage you to head on over to Simon Says Stamp and grab it! This one won't last long!

FESTIVE FLOWER
I created a couple of cards for today's release.

For my first card I heat embossed the large poinsettia image and a sentiment with detail gold embossing powder from Gina K. Designs and water colored the image with various Gina K. Designs inks. I added dots to the flower for added interest.

For my second card I used the wreath builder template from Gina K. Designs to create a quick and easy holiday wreath.

I hope these cards inspire you to create with this new set from Simon Says Stamp! Enjoy the rest of the  STAMPtember® festivities!

Thanks for visiting and have a great day friends! Rema

Hello and welcome! If you are following the blog hop list in order you should have arrived here from Kerry Urbatch's blog.

I’m so excited to be joining Joy Clair for their 5th Birthday Celebration! I have a few cards to share with you so grab a cup of coffee, sit back and enjoy the inspiration!

Here are the sets that will be featured in my cards today.

Happy Camper

 Wild and Free

Now that the introductions have been made, here is what I created for today's hop!

My husband and I are avid campers so this set is right up my alley. How adorable is this vintage looking camper?

I did some ink blending for the background and the images were colored with Polychromo pencils and Gamsol.

For this card I kept it simple with some ink blending for background. The mountain image was colored once again with Polychromo pencils and Gamsol and then fussy cut by hand.

You can find these products and more at Joy Clair Stamps

Remember to comment on all the stops for a chance to win one of two $25 gift cards to the store! Good luck!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Gina K. Designs July 2019 New Release Blog Hop Day 2

01 August 2019

Welcome back to Day 2 of the Gina K. Designs July Release Blog Hop! You should have arrived here from Hannah Schroepfer's blog. If you would like to start at the beginning, click here and it will take you to Gina K.'s blog where you will find the entire blog hop list.

We have more inspiration instore for you today so sit back and relax as we showcase the new Pop Art Flowers Card Kit and a new set by Hannah Schroepfer called Main Squeeze.

We also have another $50 GC to give away today to one lucky commenter chosen from all the comments left on all the blogs. If you have'nt commented on Day 1, be sure you do so for another chance to win a $50 GC.

Let's get started! First up we have the July Card Kit called Pop Art Flowers that I know you all are going to love! This kit includes three stamp sets. That's right three, and they are all just amazing! A layering guide is also included. Here is what you will receive.

Here are just a few of the cards I created for today's hop.

I used the Funky Flourish stencil and Electro Pop Neon Inks to create the background.

I heat embossed my image and sentiment and water colored it with GKD inks.

The background was created with Alcohol Pearl Inks on white Yupo paper and the leafy die cut images and sentiment were heat embossed with GKD Champagne embossing powder.

The next set we are showcasing is a summery set called Main Squeeze illustrated by Hannah Shroepfer. This set is a fun layering one and also comes with dies that are sold separately.

Here are a few cards that I had fun creating.

Just a simple one layer card.

I masked off a circle, added some ink blending and splatters of bleach. Flowers are from the Pop Art Flowers Card Kit.

The Sassy Stipe stencil from the Pop Art Card Kit was used for the bottom portion of my card as well as the die cut flower image.

Before you go I have one more card to show you created with the new mini incentive stamp set called Layered Eucalyptus. This stamp set ships free with any $75.00 order!  It will ship automatically without being added to your cart.

I love this mini set! The nice thing about it is you don't have to use the three step layering process. You can use just the first layer as a silhouette image. But for my card I did use all three steps.

Well that concludes Day 2 of the hop. I hope I have inspired you to create!

The entire release is available now at

Thanks so much for stopping by and have great day!

Of course you do not have to use the two step layering process. As you will see by my samples below, I omitted the first layer and they turned out beautifully!

My cards featuring this set.

For my first card I masked off an area and stamped the second layer twice.

For this card I also used the Sassy Stripes stencil that is included in the Pop Art Flowers Card Kit and a die from the You Have My Heart die set.

I stenciled a portion of the Sassy Stripes stencil with the new Electro Pop Neon inks by Rina Krupsky and added a simple sentiment from Pallets.
The second set we are featuring today is Beautiful Balloons by Beth Silaika. This set has a coordinating die that may be purchased separately.
Here are my cards featuring this set.
I randomly stamped the balloons and added stars from a previous released set called All Star also illustrated by Beth Silaika
Quick and simple card with stars from All Star for added interest.
I love the way this fun card turned out with the multi colored outlined balloons. It took absolutely no time to create!
The last set we are featuring today is called Your Wings illustrated by Lisa Hetrick. If you love butterflies this ones for you!
Here are the cards I created with this set
The wings were decorated with floral images from the set with the new Electro Pop Neon Inks.
The background was created with one of the new stencils called Funky Flourish. I also used the smile die.
My last card today was stenciled using the Sassy Stripes stencil and GKD white pigment ink. (stamped several times for good coverage). I added a couple of leafy branches from Your Wings and a flower from Hello Beautiful. The sentiment is from one of the sets in this months card kit called Wrapped In Love. Grab a cup of coffee, sit back and enjoy the inspiration. Comment on all the bogs for a chance to win one of two $50 gift certificates. The winners will be announced July 8th on the Gina K. Here are the products that are featured in my cards today:

Vibrant Blooms - Gina K. Designs
Coordinating Dies

Art Deco Stencil - Gina K. Designs

Bad &Boujee - Inkon3

Coordinating Dies

Pixie Dust - Inkon3

Now that I have made all the introductions here are the projects I created for todays hop.

For my first card I combined several images from the Vibrant Flowers stamp set and several from Bad and Boujee. Inks used are Black Onyx, Bubblegum Pink, Wild Orchid, Sea Glass and Soft Stone from Gina K. Designs. The perfume bottle was die cut and centered in the middle of my card. It is hard to see but I applied Liquid Pixie Dust onto several areas of the bottle and the diamond. It really shines at the right angle. Lastly, I added several jewels to finish off my card.

For my second card I applied Bubblegum Pink, Tangerine Twist and Sweet Corn Gina K. Design inks onto the Art Deco stencil which was angled on my card panel. The lips were stamped with Passionate Pink and Red Velvet GKD inks and fussy cut.The kisses sentiment was die cut from black fun foam. After all was stamped and cut they were adhered to my card with GKD Connect Glue, the best glue on the market! I again added several jewels for added sparkle and shine.

Check out these products and more in the links provided below.
