Hello and welcome to Day 1 of the Gina K. Designs 2019 June Release. You should have come from Mindy's blog. If you have lost your way and would like to start at the beginning click here to go back to Gina's blog.
We have an amazing release to share with you so let's get started.
First up is Alicia Krupsky's new set Timeless Beauty. This one has coordinating dies that may be purchased separately.
Here are a few of the cards I created featuring this set.
Here is a quick and easy card to create when you are in a hurry like I am sometimes. You know what they say, less is more right?
Here is a quick and easy card to create when you are in a hurry like I am sometimes. You know what they say, less is more right?
I did the paper piecing technique for the woman's clothing with the Petite Flourish background stamp and the dress was colored with Polychromo Colored Pencils and Gamsol. The background was created with the Mermaid Stencil.
For this card I used the Art Deco Stencil for the background. Here too I colored my images with Polychromo Colored Pencils and Gamsol. I die cut my images with the coordinating dies and added them to the front of my card. Jewels were added to complete my card.
Next up is the new release by Emily Loggans called Have Faith.
The Thick Brush Stencil was used to created the background on this card. I stamped the sentiment in the center and created a frame by cutting out the center of one of the GKD large oval dies with one of the GKD small oval dies. I added a couple of flowers from Hugs and Wildflowers and several jewels as a finishing touch.
Alcohol Inks on Yupo paper and GKD white embossing powder is all I used to create this beauty!
For my last card I stamped the Sweet Camellia image in Passionate Pink and added a sentiment towards the bottom. The panel was adhered to a card base I created with the Leafy Stencil.
Well that's all I have for today. Remember to comment on all the blogs for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate to Gina K. Designs. Gina will announce the winner on her blog June 14th.
Join us again tomorrow! We will be showcasing Hannah Shroepfer's new set Whimsical Wildflower Frame and the new Ocean Minded card kit!
Thanks for visiting today.
Your next stop on the hop is Sheri!
