To see who won, check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop. Ready for some inspiration? Here are a few of the projects I have created for today’s hop:

First up I have a couple of cards featuring Vicky Mermaid by Beth Silaika. For the top one I did some reverse masking with various GKD inks and then stamped a sea plant. The seahorse was stamped on watercolor paper and colored in with distress markers. I fussy cut him out and adhered him to the front. I find that it's easier to cut images from water color paper than regular card stock. Its thicker, sturdier and doesn't bend as easily when cutting around intricate areas.

After randomly stamping various images I water colored the background and left the images untouched. I lightly sprayed the front with shimmer mist and added sequins. The sentiment was heat embossed on vellum and stapled to the front.

I only had time to make one card featuring Claire Brennan's set Cottage Garden. After stamping and masking the fence image I lightly sponged the background with Wild Dandelion, Peach Bellini and Blue Lagoon GKD inks. I added Kraft towards the bottom. The bird and sign were fussy cut out and adhered to the card.

My last card features images from April's mini incentive stamp set Botanical Blocks free with a separate $75.00 purchase. A very quick and easy one layer card. I love the sentiment on this one.

  23. Each if your cards has intricate details and the use if both cardstock and watercolor oaoer is unique. I agree waterxokor is easier to fussy cut. Your cottage is rich in colors. The simplistic card lastly is adorable but very seeet and sincere.

  26. All of your cards are marvelous! That little pink seahorse is SO cute and I love the dotted circle you used to create the focal point. It made me think of bubbles in the water around the seahorse. The garden gate is so pretty and I like how you used just a part of it.
