For my first card I masked off a section and did some sponging with Abandoned Coral distress oxide ink. I just had to use one of my new Distress Oxide inks! The owl was colored with Zig Real Brush Markers. I added several star outline images from Spring Baskets and a strip of patterned paper from GKD's Petite Patterns.

For my next card I sponged the background with various GKD inks and colored the die cut images with my Zig Real Brush Markers.

Here I colored the peony image with several shades of yellow Prisma colored pencils and heat embossed the sentiment on black card stock.

For my last card I combined Wise Old Owl with a sentiment from Grand Greetings. I did some masking and added yellow and light grey circles. The solid star image is from Spring Baskets.

For my first card I stamped three Boho flowers towards the bottom of my card and left them uncolored. The sentiment and die cut "you" were stamped with Powder Blue GKD ink.

For this card I stamped the you image three times with the following GKD colors:

Dandelion Yellow, Dusty Rose and Velvet Red.

Several Black Nuvo Drops were added as a finishing touch.

Here I stamped the sentiment multiple times with Ocean Mist and Lovely Lavender. The "you" image and butterfly were stamped with GKD black ink.

 For my last card I masked off the top portion of my card base and sponged Sweet Mango. I then stamped the large and small flowers and leaves with black GKD ink and colored them with my Zig Real Brush Color Markers. After the sentiment was heat embossed on a strip of black card stock and adhered to my card front I added the die cut "you".

ATSM #252 - Make Your Mark

Good morning all!

This week's challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More is Make Your Mark (MYM). Basically what this means is to add something else besides just a stamped image. Whether it be water coloring, splatters, ink bending etc.

Here is what I created featuring No Regrets by Unity Stamp Co.

I did some water color "smooshing" to the background and added ink splatters.

My first set of cards feature Beth Silaikas new set Karen Dolphin. I did some water color "smooshing" on my first card with various GKD inks. I sponged the three dolphins with the same inks and fussy cut them out. Lastly I added Glossy accents to the splash images and a sentiment.

My second card below was shown during the release party. The sea creatures were either sponged or colored with Zig Real brush markers and fussy cut. Water splatters were added to the background and the sentiment was heat embossed.

My second set of cards features Lovely Lilies by Claire Brennan. The flowers were stamped and fussy cut out and adhered to a water colored background.

Below is another card that was shown during release night. I kept it clean and simple. The strip of black and white diagonal patterned paper is by GKD called Petite Patterns
